Kia Ora! In Room 20 we are lively and lovely Year 1 and 2 learners.
Term Two
In Room 20 we have been learning about the Water Cycle. We love Science and doing experiments. We have been learning about precipitation- rain, hail and snow, as well as condensation and evaporation. This week our experiment will be on evaporation.
In Maths Strand we have been learning about patterns. Patterns repeat themselves, a lot like the Water Cycle. We have been learning about AB patterns as well as ABC patterns. We have been able to create our own patterns with M&Ms!
Term One
This term we have working on writing recounts and instructions. Have a look at our photos of us using our instructions to make goop! We have also been learning our pepeha. Ask us what 'Ko rua tekau toku akomanga' means! Here's a clue: rua tekau is a number 😉
