I have been an Early Childhood teacher for over 25 years and have loved every minute of it. I enjoy getting to know and extending preschool children in all areas of their development. I particularly love to sing and dance with the children and having lots of fun!!
I have a wonderful Cook island husband, Ngatama and we have five beautiful children ranging from the ages of 25 to 11. I was born in the sunny Hawkes Bay but have lived in West Auckland for 21 years. I love spending time with my family, listening to music and baking “safe” food for my son who has multiple food allergies.
We have an open door policy at Royal Road preschool so I welcome everyone to come in and have a cuppa!

Kia ora whanau. I am blessed to lead the teaching team here at Royal Road Preschool and have been working with children for the past 18 years. I have a passion for supporting children’s growth and development through recognising their interests and extending their thinking within play and exploration.
I have been happily married to Steve for the past 16 years and we have 3 children, Danny 15, Nato 13, and Chelsea 12. As a family we do a lot of camping, fishing, diving and exploring the outdoors. I also like music, pottering in the garden, and I LOVE summer!

I have been working as an early childhood teacher for three years, and enjoy working with children, whanau and the wider community to support children’s learning and development. I love to see children guiding and initiating their own learning and having real play experiences.
I am very passionate about working with children and supporting them to become healthy, happy learners, and in 2015 I got the opportunity to spend three months working with children in The Philippines. This was a great experience and I plan to do a lot more overseas work as I love helping people and experiencing the different cultures, people and foods.
