The Royal Road School Board of Trustees joined the Duffy Books in Homes programme for 2022. The school makes a financial contribution to this scheme and is also supported by Alan Duff Charitable Foundation. The Vision of this programme is to:
“Inspire a love of books in Duffy children so they become adults who inspire a love of reading.”
Over the year all children will be given a brochure to select books of their choice to take home and keep. They will receive 2 books at a special assembly at the end of the terms. We also receive some books for our school library and a range of books that we can give out each week to students ‘Caught Being Good’. We are enjoying being a part of the love of reading.
